Download the Edbot software for your platforms using the links below.
The software is cross-platform compatible. For example you can run in client mode on a Raspberry Pi and connect to a server running on Windows. Please ensure you run the same version of software on all computers on your network.
The Edbot software runs on Microsoft Windows Vista/7/8/8.1/10 and is provided as a standard signed installer.
Download the following installer to add the Edbot block translations to Scratch 2.0 offline.
You'll need to install this on every computer running Scratch and you’ll need to re-install if you upgrade your version of Scratch. We currently offer translations for Dutch, Spanish, Hungarian and Lithuanian with more languages on the way.
You'll need Raspbian Jessie with Pixel and we recommend a Raspberry Pi 3. The Edbot software is packaged as a self-extracting archive. To install the software, run a terminal window and type:
sudo sh ~/Downloads/edbot_raspbian.bin
Note that Scratch 2.0 offline is not available on this platform.
You'll need to purchase a Product Key to activate your Edbot. Each Edbot requires its own Product Key, but there is no limit to the number of users.
